Ở trẻ nhỏ, mẩn ngứa là một bệnh viêm da thường thấy, do rất nhiều nguyên nhân phức tạp gây nên. Thương nhất là các cháu bé trên người chi chít những nốt đỏ, vết thâm, xước sẹo vì gãi. Đặc biệt, vì da trẻ rất mỏng nên dễ tổn thương sâu và khó tự phục hồi, dễ tạo ra các vết sẹo thâm. Nếu không được điều trị đúng cách và kịp thời, sẹo thâm có thể tồn tại 1 – 2 năm, thậm chí là vĩnh viễn.
